Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Arabic and Western digits?
Eastern Arabic digits (٠١٢٣) are used in Arabic texts, while the globally common digits (0123) are called Western or Arabic numerals. The tool converts between them without touching the rest of the text.
Are Persian digits supported?
Yes. When converting to Western form, Persian digits (۰۱۲۳) are converted automatically along with Arabic-Indic ones in the same step.
What does the swap direction button do?
It reverses the conversion direction and moves the current result into the input box, so you can continue converting the other way without re-pasting.
Are letters and punctuation affected?
No. Only digits are replaced; all letters, punctuation and spacing remain exactly as they were.
